Dorothy A. Byron a 62-year Mamaroneck resident passed away on March 7, 2013 at age 91. She was born in the Bronx to the late Frederick and Christine Dehn on February 7, 1922. Dorothy worked for the NY Telephone Co. for many years, she also worked for the Mamaroneck U.F.S.D. as a bus driver and route organizer. She was a long time member of the Columbiettes and the Harbor Island Senior Center. She was a parishioner at Most Holy Trinity church where she sang in the choir for many years. She was a longtime NY Giants baseball fan and later a diehard NY Mets fan She also volunteered for numerous local organizations.Dorothy is survived by her loving children Frances (Richard) Magrino, Patricia (Gary) Rosen, William (Robyn) Byron and Christine (Michael) Cokeley. She also leaves behind her 9 cherished grandchildren William, Michael, Gabrielle, Christopher, Richard, Jessica, Lauren, Rebecca, Briana and 3 adoring great grandchildren Quinn, James and Sommer. She was predeceased by her husband William Byron, her brothers Fred and Frank Dehn and her longtime partner Jack Mayne. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 5-9pm and Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME. 767 E.Boston Post Rd. Mamaroneck 914-698-5968 A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 10am at Most Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
