Anna Pergola, of Mamaroneck, passed away September 6, 2012 at age 92. Born February 17, 1920 in New Rochelle, NY to the late Pasquale and Antoinetta (nee Montinaro) DeSimone. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Anna was a true Christian woman who taught by example. She made a positive difference in the many lives that she touched. She was caring, loving and giving and instilled those values and many others in her family. Anna was intuitive and always seemed to know when to help and how to help, no matter the situation. She was a member of the Mamaroneck Seniors, Senior Citizen Honor Society, Catholic Daughters and the Red Hat Society. Survived by her devoted children Marie (Bob) Hill, Toni Pergola (Paul) Ryan, Bonnie Jean (Dan) Evans, cherished grandson Christopher (Kim), adoring great-grandchildren Jack, Aidia, Eloise, sister-in-law Florence DeSimone, and many loving nieces and nephews. Anna is predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony, and siblings Anthony, John, Joseph, Constantino, Pat, and Mary DeFeo. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Thursday 10 am at St. Vito’s Church. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Anna’s name may be made to the Calvary Fund at Calvary Hospital.
