Domenico DiMarco, of Harrison, passed away September 11, 2012 at age 92. Born December 28, 1919 in Corvara, Italy to the late Alfonso and Lucia (nee Luciani) DiMarco. Domenico served in the Italian army for 6 years and also lived in Brazil for 6 years before coming to America on August 6, 1967. Domenico was laborer by trade, and was an avid bocce player, as well as a gardener, who loved to share his vegetables with his neighbors. Survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Aldesina (nee D’Orazio), cherished daughter Lina Amendola, adoring grandson Steven and loving sister Isolina Ciccone. He is predeceased by a son Anthony C. DiMarco, son-in-law Francesco Amendola, and siblings Gino, Giuseppe, Sabatino, John, Filomena, Antoinette and Gemma. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass, Saturday 10am at St. Gregory’s Church in Harrison, followed by an interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
