Luigi Michele Carducci, of Mamaroneck, passed away September 18, 2012 at age 88. Born in Arce, Frosinone, Italy on January 1, 1924 to the late Eleuterio and Angela (Grella) Carducci. Luigi served in the Italian Army during WWII and then came to America in the summer of 1956 and worked in construction for Carducci Construction Co. He is also a proud parishioner at St. Vito’s Church and an avid gardener. Survived by his devoted wife Paulina (Sorcio), cherished children Angela (Nicholas) Vetrano and Concetta (Bill) Griese, adoring grandchildren Jennifer (Brian) Bubluski, Renee (Ken) Pasquale, Steven (Christina) Vetrano, David and Lauren Griese, and loving great grandchildren Andre, William, Adam, Kevin, Eric and Alexa, and sisters- in-law Rose and Marianna. He is predeceased by his first wife Carolina (nee Sbardella), siblings John, Joseph, and Crescenzo and sister-in-law Angela. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E.
