Vincent M. Pizzi of Mamaroneck, passed away on April 24, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was 84. Born in NYC to Vincenzo and Marianina Pizzi. Vincent proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was one of the founding fathers of the Italian City Club of Yonkers and the president of the Mount St. Michael Academy Men’s Club. He was also actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America at St. Paul the Apostle in Yonkers. He had a career as a successful management professional in a number of business organizations. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Joan (nee Baker) Pizzi and loving children Vincent Pizzi and Ann Palancia (Joseph). He was predeceased by his cherished siblings, Giulio, Agatha, Santa and Frank Pizzi. To honor Vincent’s life, Family and Friends will gather on Saturday from 7 -9pm and Sunday 2-4pm and 7-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 E. Boston Post Rd. Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Monday at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, followed by entombment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
