Paul J. Nardozzi, of Harrison, passed away November 16, 2014 at age 89. Born in New Rochell July 17, 1925 to Daniel & Lillian (Caperella) Nardozzi. Paul proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He bravely fought from the D-Day Invasion in Normandy through the Battle of the Bulge. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Paul worked for many years as a carpenter for Superior Carpentry in Mamaroneck and Harrison. After his retirement, he continued in his craft often building bird houses, clocks and airplanes for family and friends. He is the beloved husband of the late Elvera (Passamonte). She passed away in 2000. Paul is survived by his devoted children, Daniel Nardozzi (Jeanne), William Nardozzi, Marie Murray (Robert) and Paula Nardozzi. He is the loving papa of Anthony Giovannone (Jaclyn), Marlena Giovannone Gentile (Dominick), Alyssa Murray, Ciaira Murray, Amanda Nardozzi and Nicole Nardozzi and “Papa Paulie” of Gianluca & Vera Gentile and Anthony Michael Giovannone. To honor Paul’s life family and friends will gather on Wednesday 5-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 E. Boston Post Rd Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968.
