Angela “Lee” Ronaghan
Born January 6, 1928. Daughter of Pasquale Zio and Louise Dabbiero Zio. Lee was the beloved wife of Arthur Francis Ronaghan, Jr., who passed away on February 8, 2008. They were longtime residents of Mamaroneck and New Rochelle, New York, and were partners for years in the Greenhaven Delicatessen. They retired to Malone, NY, in 2001. Lee is survived by her three children: her son Stephen and his wife Susan, of Stamford, CT; her daughter Stephanie Fasolino and her husband, Christopher, of Malone, NY; and her son Arthur and his wife, Deirdre, of Stamford, CT. She is also survived by two grandsons, Christopher Fasolino of Plattsburgh, NY, son of Christopher and Stephanie, and Jeffrey Ronaghan of Stamford, CT, son of Arthur and Deirdre; by her sister, Geraldine Nicola of New Rochelle, NY; and by nieces and nephews. Lee loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with the family dogs. She was a member of “the Club,” a group of close friends who had known each other since Kindergarten. She died peacefully on June 25, 2012 at the home of Christopher and Stephanie. Calling hours will be held Thursday 4-8pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME in Mamaroneck, 767 E. Kathleen “Kitty” Harrington a long time resident of Larchmont passed
away on June 26,2012 at the age of 98. Kitty was born Sept 12,1913 in
Kenmare, County Kerry Ireland. She emigrated to the US as a young girl
and married the late Michael Harrington in 1939. Five children were
born from this union:Michael,Denis,Donald, John and Mary. She was
predeceased by 2 sons: Donald aged 7 years and John aged 52 and
sisters Mary, Nora, and Sheila and brothers John spouse Maura,Denis and Michael. Kitty was one of the founding parishioners of St’s John and Paul Parish in Larchmont where she served on the Altar Guild. Kitty was also active in the Columbettes, Ancient Order of Hibernian’s and the American Irish Association. Her interests included: family,friends,swimming,
gardening, sewing, baking, dancing, reading, a good chat and praying
for and with others. Kathleen is survived by her sister Margaret, sons
Michael and Denis and their spouses, Gail and Lynn, daughter-in law
Christine Harrington, daughter Mary and grandchildren Denise and spouse
Robert Cohen, Vanessa Harrington and Vincent Barth and her two beloved
great grandchildren Madeline and Michael Cohen. Her final days were
spent surrounded by family and her many friends Although she was frail
in her 98th year, she gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us
of the preciousness of life. Kitty was a loving and caring person,
devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. She
is blessed with many friends, who understood and admired her
instinctive feel for what was really important in all our lives.
Services will be held at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home 767 Boston
Post Road Mamaroneck New York Friday June 29th from 5-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday June 30th – 10AM at Sts. John and Paul Church Weaver Street, Larchmont, New York. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery,Valhalla, NY.

Lucille French, longtime resident of Harrison, NY died Monday at the
Rockville Nursing Home where she resided in Rockville, Maryland. She
was 100. The cause was pneumonia. Born Lucille Burke on July 25, 1911 in Manhattan, she was the first of three children born to Frank and Jenny Burke, both of New York City. Lucille grew up on E 79th and E 80th streets in Manhattan where she lived with her younger sisters, whom she has survived, Irene Campbell and Virginia Thomas. In 1943, she married Robert French of Harrison, NY where she lived for more than 65 years. Much of that time, Lucille worked as a switchboard operator for the Continental Baking Company
until her retirement in 1976.She is survived by her two children, Robert French of Harrison, NY and Susan Pucie of Bethesda, MD, her four grandchildren and six beloved great great grandchildren. A brief gathering will take place this Friday at 10am at the COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME in Mamaroneck, NY.www.coxeandgraziano.com. The funeral will take place at 11am at St. Gregory the Great church in Harrison after which there will be a burial ceremony at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye. Following the burial, there will be a reception at Chef Antonio’s restaurant in Mamaroneck. In lieu of flowers, donations to her favorite charity, Save the Children, is suggested.

Thomas Joseph McCarrick passed away peacefully in his home in Mamaroneck, NY, on Wednesday. He was 85 years old. Tom was born on August 31, 1926, the fourth of twelve children to Patrick and Mariah McCarrick in Cloonacool, County Sligo, Ireland. At the age of twenty-one, Tom immigrated to the United States and soon began his career in New York City with MaBSTOA as a bus driver, where he rapidly worked his way up the ranks to hold the titles of Division Chief of Manhattan and Transit Superintendent of the Bronx before concluding his career in the position of General Manager. Tom served in the United States Army from 1950-1952, stationed in Germany during the Korean War. On September 10, 1955 Tom married Kathleen Corcoran at Saint Jerome’s Church in the Bronx, NY. They resided in Throggs Neck until 1976 and raised seven children. Tom was active in his church communities in both the Bronx and Mamaroneck: he was the first president of the Cardinal Spellman Retreat League, a member of the Holy Name Society, and regular attendee of nocturnal adoration. One of his proudest accomplishments was raising funds for the Cardinal Spellman Retreat Home, for which he was awarded the Pope Pius XII Award on July 20, 1968. Tom also had a life-long love of Irish music, regularly entertaining his family and friends by playing the Irish flute at family gatherings. His generosity, work ethic, and profound faith were an inspiration to his family members, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
Thomas is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children Thomas and fiancé Michelle Retik, Kathleen and husband Brendan Weiden, John and wife Dawn, Colette and husband Michael Geary, James, Matthew and wife Ariella; his grandchildren Mathias, Colum, Maeve, Grace, Clare, Kyle, Conor, Brianna, Cailean, Mariah, Jake, Aubrey and Gavin; and his siblings Agnes Lynch, Kathleen Lynch, Ceilia Kerin and Francie McGlinchey. He was predeceased by his sons Timothy and Peter, grandchild Leah, siblings John, Gerard, Martin, Patrick, Annie Rockewll and Mary (May) Gildea, and nephews Michael Lynch and Paul Lynch.
Arrangements have been made at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Saturday 11am at Most Holy Trinity Church with burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. McCarrick’s memory to St. Joseph’s School for the Deaf, 1000 Hutchinson River Parkway, Bronx, NY 10465.
