Steven Favata, a Harrison resident, passed away September 22, 2012 at age 61. Born October 15, 1950 in Brooklyn to the late Francis and Mary (nee Maltese) Favata. Steven proudly served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Port Chester VFW. He later went on to work for Con Ed as a Special Inspector and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and boating. Survived by his beloved wife Margaret (nee Cianci), cherished children Steven Anthony, Michelle Marie and Brigida Favata, loving brother William Favata, and his devoted companion Hercules. A memorial gathering will be held Friday 11am-1pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Steven’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
