Vincent Tedesco of the Bronx, passed away on January 26, 2014. He was 83. Born in Conversano, Bari, Italy to Vito and Theresa Tedesco. Vincent was the Proprietor of Monarch Studios in Queens. Beloved husband of 53years to the late Jean (nee Piccoli) Tedesco, who predeceased him in February 2013, devoted father of Anthony (wife Tina), Vincent and Joseph (wife Helen), cherished grandfather of Matthew and Amelia, loving brother of Rocco “Kito” Tedesco
To honor Vincent’s life family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 – 8pm at
COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 E. Boston Post Rd. Mamaroneck, NY.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am Friday at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church. Commital will be private.

He loved the Yankees, the NYPhilharmonic, Tanglewood, the Bronx Zoo, Israel and travelling

Jeri (Geraldine) H. Marshall (née Stroh-Cristiano) of Harrison, died January 18th, 2014 at age 72. Together with former spouse, Fred Marshall, she was the cherished mother of Larry (wife Tabby) Marshall, Karen Marshall, and Jean (husband Vito) Montesano. Beloved grandmother (Ma Mere) of Ivy and Willow Marshall, Sammy and Sydney Gioseffi, and Karlie, Kyle and Collin Montesano. Loving sister to Tom (wife Denise) Stroh, Joy Mary (husband Walt) Broer, Chrissy Ruge, and the late Phil Cristiano. Loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Jeri was a dedicated loyal office manager to Dr. Paul Rutkowski, and an integral part of helping to provide his patients service and care for over 40 years. She will be missed by all her loving and endearing friends. To honor Jeri’s life family and friends will gather on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 E. Norman G. Gans
Norman G. Gans, of Ft. Myers, FL, died on January 9, 2014 after a long illness. He was 89. Born in Port Chester, NY to Joseph & Flora Gans in 1924. Norman was an Eagle Scout and a decorated combat veteran serving in the US Army during WWII, he was awarded the Purple Heart for critical wounds received in the Hurtgen Forest in Germany.
Norman and his brother Irwin were partners in the daily operations of the Greenwich Oil Co., in Greenwich, CT.
Norman was an avid boater and member of the Greenwich Boat Club in Greenwich, CT. He also was a midget pace car owner and builder as a hobby.
He is survived by Irwin, Marion, Eddy, Robert and Julie Gans, his step son Peter and step daughter Nina. He resided at the Landing’s in Ft Myers, FL and he is lovingly remembered by his devoted companion and friend, Barbara Mantel. He was predeceased by his wife Athalie Gans in 1988

Frances Fanelli, of Larchmont, passed away January 16, 2014 at age 86. Born April 11, 1927 in St. Agatha, Italy to Carmine & Anna Mavila. Fran was the President and CEO of Fran’s Tag Sale and was a member of the Women’s Club of Larchmont. She is the beloved wife of the late Michael T. Fanelli. Fran is the cherished mother of Duke Fanelli (Donna), Michael Fanelli (Anna), Peter Fanelli (Theresa), Christopher Fanelli and Claudia Fortunato (Edward). Loving sister of Anthony Mavila and Dina Matthaei and cherished grandmother of 8.

Janet Emma Hurley (nee Pitz) of Larchmont, died after a brief illness. She was 97. She was born in the Bronx to John and Olga (nee Sturken) Pitz. She was a graduate of Katherine Gibbs and worked as executive secretary and chief financial officer of her family business. She was active in the Altar Society, The Rosary Society and the Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Larchmont Garden Club. She was a voracious reader and loved to play Bridge. Beloved wife of the late Jeremiah J. (d. 2001); devoted mother of Lorna Minor, and John Hurley (wife Virginia), cherished grandmother of John (wife Eugenia), Jean Marie and James, and beloved aunt, great aunt, and great, great aunt to the Bunte family. She is also predeceased by a granddaughter Patricia Hurley and her son in law Miller G. Minor, as well as niece Pamela Bunte and sister Lorna Bunte.. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Catholic Charities or ASPCA.
