Mr Douglas Capasso
Douglas Capasso of Mamaroneck died December 14, 2012 at Calvary Hospital. Douglas was born on January 13, 1948 to Albert and Jessie (nee Amabile) Capasso. He was 64. Douglas was Director of HIV Services for Hudson River Health Care. He was the loving brother of Debra L. Capasso. Comittal was private. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Veronica Dahlgren, formerly of Mamaroneck, died December 13, 2012 in Sacramento, CA. Born May 10, 1925 to Ralph & Rose Autorino. She worked for many years in audio assembly. Beloved wife of the late Fredrick Dahlgren. Survived by loving children, Edward Dahlgren (Tami) Donna Nesci (Vincent), 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and brother, Chubby Autorino (Betty). Predeceased by brother, Robert “Guy” Autorino. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project are requested.

Anna Giunta Beers, formerly of Washingtonville, NY, peacefully passed into the arms of the Lord on December 15, 2012 in White Plains, NY surrounded by her loving and devoted children & grandchildren. Anna was born on February 28, 1924 to Santo & Antonette (Genovese) Giunta. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Anna was a kind, generous, selfless, gentle soul with a great sense of humor, fun loving nature and an enormous zest for life. Anna was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Alfred Beers, Grandson, Michael Heberling and Great Grandson Camden Trammell. Anna is survived by her children Barbara Grace and husband Richard Grace, Joann Heberling and husband Richard, Margaret Migliore and husband Andrew, William Beers and wife Fran. Grandchildren Randi Coppola and husband Jimmy, Dana Hunt and husband Russ, Kristy Trammell and husband Chaz, Vincent Migliore, Amanda Beers, Allison Beers, Christian Beers, Diana Grace Linekin (Robert) and Richard Grace Jr. (Alison). Great Grand children Elizabeth Myers, Anthony Coppola, Kelly Coppola, Barbara Jo Coppola, Andrew Hunt , Anthony Hunt, Sara, Anna & Emily Linekin and Ethan, Ava, Noah & MacKenzie Grace. Sisters Angie Ferraro and her husband Frank, Rose Sinnanian and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Angelo, Dominic, Anthony and Louis.

Lucia Spagnolo, (nee Della Posta) a longtime Mamaroneck resident died December 17,2012 at age 96. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincenzo. Devoted mother of Aldo (wife Sue Ellen) Spagnolo, Domenico (wife Jennifer) Spagnolo, Assunta “Sue” Manning (husband William) and the late Vincent, cherished grandmother of Flavia Timberg, Danny Spagnolo, David Spagnolo, Christopher Spagnolo, Julian Spagnolo and Rachael Spagnolo and great grandmother of Michael, Jason and Vincenzo. Hilaria G. Thompson, 87, of White Plains, NY died on December 24, 2012. Hilaria worked as a Teacher for the Board of Education in Brooklyn, NY. She was pre-deceased by her loving daughter Eleanor DiPietro, and sister Barbara Viscount. Hilaria is survived by her two children; Sterling Coleman, and Susan DiPietro, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Rudolph J. Rosiello died on December 28, 2012 at age 98. Rudolph was born in Viesta, Italy on September 6, 1914 to James and Carmela Greco Rosiello. He was the founder and president of Roblor Cress Co. working til the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Mary Grace (nee Sullo) who died in 2008.Cherished father of Rudolph Rosiello, Carmella “Candy” Capiola and Linda Patrie. He was the proud grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 5. Rudolph is the last of nine siblings.

Samuel Albert Etre “Babe” died December 29th, 2012 after a gallant struggle. He was 87. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Marc Antonio and Carmella “nee Gallo.” Babe was the proprietor of ELQ industries, which he founded in 1963. He was a Marine during WWII who saw action in the Pacific Theater. Babe was a Boy Scout leader, as well as a member of the Elks Club and the Mamaroneck-Harrison Rotary. Beloved husband of Gloria “nee Battipaglia”, devoted father of Marc “wife Angela”, Robert “wife Sue”, Rick “wife Lisa”, Debbie Collins “husband Paul”, cherished grandfather of Kristin and Frank Acocella, Marc Etre Jr., Alicia and Jerome Valente, Samuel Etre “fiancé Andrea”, Robert Etre and Thomas Collins and great-grandfather of John Francis Valente. Michael Maguire was born in Manhattan to the late Hugh and Mary Margaret (nee Crowley) Maguire. He was a surveyor and member of Local 15 of the International Operating Engineers. Father of Michael, Christopher and Jaime, brother of Mary Gladstone, Joann Payne and Geraldine McNally and grandfather of Jace Maguire. He was the former husband of Janet Jaenchen.
