Dorothy C. Broderick (nee Cretton), a resident of Mamaroneck, NY died on January 28th, 2013, Dorothy was born on February 27th, 1931 in New York City to Robert and Lucy Cretton. Dorothy graduated from St. Barnabas High School and Katherine Gibbs School. Dorothy and her family have been members of Orienta Beach Club in Mamaroneck since 1962. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late James A. Broderick,Jr. who were married for 57 years. She worked alongside James and her children in the family insurance business for most of those years. Dorothy is the loving mother of five children and their spouses: Jim (Lisa), Bob (Sue), Grace Capuano (Marty), Paul (Janet MaCleod) and Tom (Patty). Dorothy is the cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren: Kathleen, Kelly, Jimmy, Ryan, Rob, Michael, Christine, Meaghan, Timmy, Katie and Kevin. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 – 8pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home 767 E.Boston Post Rd. Mamaroneck. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10AM at Sts. Helen Brauner
Helen Brauner, born Helen Meyer, died peacefully February 1, 2013 in Marblehead, MA. Prior to that, she was a long term resident of New Rochelle, NY. Born in New York City, educated at Hunter College, she married twice, first Morris Krasny and later Reuben Brauner. She spent 25 Years as a beloved social studies teacher, at Wade JHS 117 and IS180 at Co-op City, both in the Bronx. Upon retirement, she was recruited as a mentor in the NYC school system. Helen was honored for her dedicated service to the Westchester County Chapter of Women’s American ORT. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Laurie Krasny Brown and Michelle Myerson, nephew Merrill Halpern and grandchildren Eli Brown and Ezra Myerson. The funeral will be held Sunday February 3, 2013 at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, NY at 11:00 AM. All friends are welcome.

Mrs. Edith Wilson (nee Parisi) of Mamaroneck, and formerly of New Rochelle died on February 1, 2013 at age 86. Edith was a Registered Nurse who graduated from the New Rochelle Hospital Cadet School of Nursing, Class of 47. Paul Just of Peekskilly, NY formerly of Mamaroneck, NY died on February 1, 2013 at age 92. Paul was a foreman for Metro North Railroad. The son of Emil and Louise Just. He is survived by his daughters, Beverly Giuliante (husband Anthony), Linda Mecca (husband Leonard) and Beatrice Just. He was the proud grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 3. John Michael O’Keefe
John Michael O’Keefe, of Larchmont, passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on February 2, 2013 at age 95. Son of the late Michael & Bridget O’Keefe, he proudly served in the Army during WWII. John worked as Chief Court Clerk for the New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan. He is the beloved husband of the late Dorothy. He is survived by his devoted children, Jack O’Keefe (Anne Galletta), Kathryn Iacovelli (Tony) and Susan Malley (James). Loving grandfather of Shannon, Jaclyn, Bryan, Nikki, Sean, Christine and Michelle and great grandfather of Jenna, Samantha, Chace, Dylan and Haley. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers, Most Reverend Joseph O’Keefe, Reverend Thomas O’Keefe and Dennis O’Keefe and his sisters Elizabeth Nolan and Frances Dervin.

Joseph Lodovico Sr. of New Rochelle and formerly of Harrison died on February 11, 2013 at age 87. Mr.Lodovico was born in Bristol, Ct. on April 19, 1925. to Anthony and Beatrice Carocci Lodovico. He was a veteran of the army serving in WWII and later became account executive for Reuben H. Donnelly. He as also a fixture at the Harrison Flower Shop where he worked with his son Joe and his grandson Joseph. Beloved husband of the late Ida, devoted father Joe and grandfather of Joseph. Drew Dionisio of Harrison, passed away on February 14, 2013. At age 60. He is the loving son of Dominic and the late Ann Caprio Dionisio. Drew was a lifelong resident of Harrison. He graduated from Harrison High School and worked for the Town of Harrison Highway Department until his retirement. Drew was a gentle, caring soul who never had a bad word to say about anyone. He loved spending time with his family, especially his father with whom he was a kindred spirit. His presence will be greatly missed. His mother, Ann, predeceased him in 1998. Besides his adoring father Dominic, he is also survived by his cherished brother Richard , Loving nephew Richard J and niece Audra; and 3 great-nieces and a great-nephew. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 10:00am at Saint Gregory the Great Church in Harrison. Interment to follow at St Mary’s Cemetery in Rye Brook.

He retired as Commisioner of Development from the City of New Rochelle in 2000. On January 1, 1987 he married the love of his life, Rachael. To cherish his memory, he leaves behind three children Joseph (Cynthia) Madonna, Joan Marie (Dan) Wycoff and Alfred Madonna. He is the beloved brother of Nicholas (Phyllis) Madonna and Paul (Theresa) Madonna. In addition to his adored wife Rachael are his loving stepchildren Laura Caccavale and Joseph (Leticia) Tantillo. Violante “Vito” Lepore Jr. died January 15, 2013 sadly at age 40. Violante was born in the Bronx April 25, 1972 to Violante and the late Maria (Fishetti) Lepore Sr. He worked with his father and sister as office manager for Select Estate Wines. He is survived by his father Violante (wife Mira), his dear sister Angela and step brother David Taraj. He is predeceased by his mother Maria who died in 2003.
